| Submitting Profiles |
People with the required experience and qualifications are invited to
submit a profile for publication. Once you have registered you will be able
to submit and modify your profile using your own chosen username and
password. Your profile will remain hidden from public view until it has
been approved by the National Cultural Foundation.

| Wayne Jordan is a published author, dramatist and high school teacher of English, Theatre Arts and Communication Studies. He is a romance writer and currently writes contemporary romance and romantic suspense for Kimani Press, the African-American arm of Harlequin Enterprises, the world\\\\\\\'s largest publisher of romance fiction.
Wayne is a member of Romance Writers of America, Novelists Inc and the RWA Online Chapter. He\\\\\\\'s the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Romance in Color, www.romanceincolor.com, an online magazine which focuses on African-American popular fiction. Wayne holds a B.A. in English and Linguistics, an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and a post-graduate Diploma in Education. |

| AWARDS/WRITING EXPERIENCE: |
| In 2000, his contemporary romance Capture the Sunrise, placed third in RWA Outreach International Annual Award of Excellent Writing Contest.
In 2002, the manuscript won first place in an the aspiring authors\\\' category of the Emma Awards at the annual Romance Slam Jam Conference for readers and writers of African-American American Romance.
In March 2006, he won for Favorite New Authors at the same conference.
